OSHA 10 Hour Road Construction Online Course Description: Road construction presents unique safety challenges as crews navigate equipment, traffic, and other on-the-job hazards. To ensure better safety levels for these workers, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) offers an Outreach Training Program to address common hazards, safety practices, and more. By taking the OSHA 10-Hour Road Construction course, participants can earn a Department of Labor (DOL)/OSHA 10-Hour Card and receive the training needed to prevent injuries and fatalities on the job.
Intended Audience: This 10-hour, OSHA Outreach course is designed for construction professionals working on road construction sites to perform road maintenance activities. These individuals include:
- Road Builders
- Road Construction Crews
- Road Maintenance Personnel
- Workers on publicly-funded projects of varying amounts in the following states
- Connecticut (must re-certify every 5 years)
- Massachusetts
- Missouri
- Nevada
- New Hampshire
- New York
- Rhode Island
- This course is not intended for general construction or general industry workers. Construction workers employed or seeking employment in New York City should register for the following courses per New York City Department of Buildings (NYC DOB) LL196 online course proctoring requirements.

Completion Requirements: OSHA requires 10 Hour online training to be completed within 6 months from the date when you start the course:
- OSHA 10 Course Minimum Passing Score is 70%
- You Have 3 Chances to Pass the OSHA 10 Online Test
- You Receive Immediate Feedback on Incorrect Answers
