Ergonomics for the Floor Employee for General Industry Online Course Description: This online safety course, Ergonomics for the Floor Employee, will cover Ergonomics safety for an employee working on the floor of a manufacturing, warehousing, or other similar site, as according to Federal OSHA standards. Students will become familiar with hazards evaluation practices and how to control hazards on the job site and learn about effective ways to use Ergonomics to protect your office space from injuries due to Musculoskeletal Disorders.

Intended Audience: This Ergonomics for the Floor Employee online course is designed for employees working on the floor in General Industry sectors, including those who are responsible for maintaining workplace safety and health according to OSHA regulations:

  • Manufacturing assemblers and other employees on production lines or stations
  • Material processors or handlers
  • Warehousing and Distribution operators
